Graduates of 3-year programs (at least 180 ECTS) must complete 10 more courses (60 ECTS) at the Bachelor level as scientific preparation:
Courses must be decided by the programs.
Minimum CGPA: 2.5/4.00, with no N/A or Fs.
Note: Conditional acceptance is granted upon signing a preparatory course agreement.
Candidates with <180 ECTS may be admitted as Transfer Students. Upon graduating with at least 2.5 CGPA, they may apply for a Master's program.
For 240 ECTS holders, a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.00 or 65/100 is required.
Applicants must provide at least two academic reference letters.
Clinical Psychology: Completion of 19 prerequisite undergraduate courses is mandatory. Missing courses must be taken at IUS before beginning the program.
VACD Program: Only applicants with a Design and Arts background and a submitted Creative Portfolio will be considered.
Applications with poor quality documentation (e.g., photos instead of scans) will be rejected.

General Admission Rules
The study contract and annexes are binding between IUS and the student.
All admissions are conditional, pending official recognition of prior education by Bosnia-Herzegovina authorities.
Candidates must initiate diploma recognition via the Student Affairs Office upon arrival.
Visa D is required for students from visa-regime countries. Only the Ministry of Security of BiH can issue invitation letters. More info

TOEFL iBT: 79
IUS also offers its own English Proficiency Exam (6 times/year).
Students without sufficient English skills may join the English Language School (4,000 EUR/year).
IUS offers competitive scholarships (tuition waivers only).
Scholarships may be earned based on academic success after Year 1.
Accommodation, food, and travel costs are not covered by tuition or scholarships.
Tuition fee excludes:
Books and supplies
Summer school
Extra certificates or courses (e.g., TOEFL prep)
Additional costs also excluded: diploma recognition, residency, and health procedures.
Official documents (acceptance/guarantee letters) are issued only after non-refundable tuition payment.
Students must complete the residency permit within 75 days of arrival or lose exam rights for the semester.
Cancellation Policy:
Visa rejection: Tuition refunded minus fees.
Cancellation after arrival: No refund.
Force majeure: Full tuition refunded, minus admission/used fees.
Visa-based refunds are issued after the guarantee period ends.
Expulsion or deportation leads to forfeiture of all paid tuition.
Students canceling after receiving visa/residency will have their visa annulled by IUS.
